Manchester United go into the international break in absolute mess to say the least. They are not only struggling in the league but their chances of UEFA Champions League knockout stages hang in the balance with two matchdays remaining. United’s boss Ole Gunner Solsjaer is under massive pressure who cant seem to get the things under control since Cristiano Joined the club.
There are rumours he will be sacked as soon as Erik Ten Hag is available. Ten Hag is United’s first choice to replace Solsjaer. Ronaldo is already showing frustration at the lack of direction at the club. Regardless whoever United sign as their manager, It is bound to become Ronaldo vs Manager in 2022/23 season unless United agree to let Ronaldo leave the club.
United are in a bigger mess then initially thought. Almost everyone knew signing Ronaldo is a desperate move. Ronaldo might end up scoring 30 goals again but he will suck the life out of the team. It will be absolute miracle if United can qualify for Champions League. No champions league next season mean’s difficult to sign players. If they cant improve the squad, it will be even more difficult to qualify for champions league in next season and so on.
To arrest this slump they need to hire a competent manager and Erik Ten Hag is just that who can bring some stability to the club. But no matter what, United should let Ronaldo go if they want to be successful again.
